In these uncertain times, we take our role as an essential service provider seriously. We remain open to serve our customers while closely following guidelines put in place by the federal, local governments and the CDC. Therefore, we offer multiple options to serve you while keeping you and your employees’ safety, in mind.


Washington Express is glad to be a trusted resource for you and your company during this time. As we have been declared an essential service for you and your company, we’d like to share the ways we are ensuring the health and safety of our customers and team members.

To ensure our couriers are following proper safety procedures, we’ve implemented the following protocols:

  • Daily check-in surveys via the courier app prior to beginning shift. Unless they pass, they aren't able to complete work for us.
  • All couriers are required to wear face masks in order to complete deliveries.
  • No person to person contact on residential deliveries. Packages will be left at the door and recipients will receive real time email/text notifications.
  • Our couriers have been instructed to abide by social distancing guidelines. We are no longer requiring recipients to sign our mobile devices. Recipients will be asked for their names only.
