Where does Washington Express deliver?

Washington Express provides same-day courier service to the entire Washington, DC Metropolitan area, including Bethesda MD, Fairfax VA, Rockville MD and Washington DC

What makes Washington Express different?

Washington Express is DC’s largest and fastest “on demand” courier service. Our standard service times are equivalent to our competitors’ “Rush” delivery times.

What is your insurance policy for lost/damaged/stolen goods?

Washington Express’s liability for damage to your shipment is limited to $100 unless a higher replacement value is declared at the time your order is placed. Washington Express will assume additional liability for a fee of $25 per $1,000 of value to a maximum of $50,000. The declared value represents Washington Express’s maximum liability. Any claims for damage or loss must be reported to Washington Express within 72 hours of delivery. Loss in excess of the declared value is assumed by the shipper.

How many couriers do you have?

200 uniformed couriers.

How do you communicate with your couriers?

All of our couriers are equipped with smartphones and GPS satellite tracking equipment.

How can I cancel or change my delivery order?

To cancel or make changes to an order you placed online or over the phone, give us a call as soon as possible. A courier can arrive within 5 minutes of your request for service.

Do you offer internet ordering?

Yes, account holders can place orders via WEXlink, our online ordering and tracking system.

How do I open an account with Washington Express?

To open a new account, please fill out our new account sign-up form. A representative will be in touch within 3 business days to finalize account details.

What are the billing options for my account?

We offer both autocard payments and invoice options for all corporate accounts that can be billed monthly or semi-monthly. Please note, there is a 3% processing fee for all payments made by credit card.

Can I place an order if I don’t have an account?

Yes. Just give us a call and one of our customer service representatives will be happy to assist you with your order, which can be conveniently charged to your credit card. Please note there is a 3% processing fee to all credit card payments.

How do your prices compare with other couriers?

Washington Express is competitively priced. Especially when you consider that our standard service times are equivalent to our competitor’s “Rush” service times. We’d be happy to conduct a cost analysis for your firm.

How do you track deliveries?

Our “Digital Countdown” with GPS tracking dispatch software allows our dispatchers to know exactly where every delivery is, and how much time remains until its delivery deadline.

What are your hours of operation?

Washington Express is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Why is low courier turnover important?

Courier turnover is the bane of the courier business. Experienced, “professional” couriers make fewer mistakes. Washington Express offers a fleet of experienced and long-tenured couriers.

Are your couriers insured or bonded?

Washington Express carries $3 million general liability insurance.
